Joining

Joining is easy, just add the Wii code; 1427-8193-7762-7075 to your address book with any name you see fit my DA name is =Ikue and all posts will be sent from my Wii, but you can feel free to name it anything you might remember. Then add the club to your friends list and put our icon in your journal, also send us a note with the following criteria:

Subject: Join

Message should read:

Name: Give us a name to call you in our address book.
Wii Code: Find this 16 digit code on the cover of your address book.
Games: What, if any, online games you currently have.
Battle Are you willing to battle with fellow members? yes/no

This information will then be added to our Wii Friend journal, for any member of ~wiiplay to access.

Submitting

DeviantART is an art community and as thus we are going to allow images to be posted through our club on behalf of a deviant. To submit a deviation to our gallery the deviation must be Wii related, whether it be games, hardware, or peripherals. Any DA category is accepted from pictures to literature. We ask that you please keep scraps to yourself. Please send us a note like the following:

Subject: Wii Message Board

Message should read:

Name of deviation: Give us a name of your deviation.
Link to deviation: Copy and paste the link of the page it can be viewed on.
Wii Message Board: Would you like us to post this deviation to the actual Wii Message Board? yes/no (not applicable for literature).
Short Description: A brief description of the deviation

Or send us an email containing the same information.

Once every two weeks the deviations will be posted. These postings will not exceed 10 deviations. This is to cut back on inbox spam. If you are upset that your piece was not chosen, sit tight the next posting date will most likely contain your work. We will disable comments for the submitted deviations and supply a link back to the original for comments and favs. Each month there will be an over all best deviation chosen and it will be featured in the journal. If you are chosen for this Feature and you said yes to us adding your deviation to the Wii Message Board a pic (under 1mb) will be sent to each member of Wii play via the Wii message board. Your name and DA address will be added to the picture. The image will remain on our message board for one month at which time the next feature will take its place.

Meeting

In order for this to work, you cannot just add a friend code and hope that same person adds you. Nope you need to let someone know. So either send us a note or a personal note to the deviant as follows:

Subject: Wii-ll you be my friend?

Message should read:

I would like to add ":dev name of deviant:" as a Wii friend.

If the note is to the club, you and the will both receive a note containing each others information (name, wii code, etc.)

If the note is sent to the original deviant then you will need to exchange your own names and wii code info. We ask if you send a note original deviant that you at least let the club know that there are friendships forming. We'd love to hear about them.
